The Finish Is the Product
An owner-operated drywall finishing company serving Savannah, GA and the surrounding areas.
Who we are
Mud Monsters Contractors is a drywall finishing company serving Savannah, GA and the surrounding areas. We are owner-operated: Alberto Velazquez, the owner, is a drywall finisher himself — the person who quotes your job is the person who stands behind the finish. That matters in a trade where the last thing a customer sees is the first thing our name is judged by.
Why a finishing-only focus wins
Many crews hang board and finish it as an afterthought. We built Mud Monsters around the opposite idea: finishing is a specialty. Seam work, skim coats, corner detail and texture matching are crafts of their own, and a mirror-smooth wall under raking light is the proof. Our services: drywall finishing, Level 5 finishes, seam taping, texture matching, corner bead installation, drywall repair and new construction finishing — for homeowners, remodelers, builders and commercial clients.
How we work
- 1We look at the actual job — in person or from your photos — and quote it clearly, free.
- 2We schedule realistically, because mud needs dry time between coats and rushing shows later.
- 3We finish in stages: tape, coats, sand, detail — checking the surface under strong light as we go.
- 4We walk the job with you before we call it done.
Licensed & insured, residential and commercial.
